Form Study
I am fascinated with sleekness and simplicity, so I chose Apple. When collecting images of Apple products, I realized that (circa 2015) their products fell into 2 visual categories, as can be seen above and below the line. Since Apple had been using the top style longer, since 2008, I chose that one.
Materials
Aluminum and occasionally magnets are key materials in Apple products. I also wanted to mimic how the MacBook Pro is engineered, by crafting the salt and pepper shakers from a solid block of aluminum.
